Joussour: Journal of Humanities, Arts, Social and Engineering Sciences of the University of Tunis is a peer-reviewed online scholarly journal published by the Tunis University  in full open access. The journal provides an inclusive and interdisciplinary platform dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research in the humanities, arts, social sciences, and engineering. Through its annual publication, Joussour seeks to strengthen the academic visibility of the University of Tunis and to enhance the accessibility of scientific production from Tunisia and beyond.

The journal welcomes original research articles, critical studies, case analyses, and review papers that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and encourage dialogue across disciplines. The journal Joussour, established in 2023, aims to enhance the visibility of the University of Tunis’s scholarly activities, address contemporary scientific and societal challenges, and promote its 15 constituent institutions. Initially launched as a biannual print publication, the journal is undergoing a strategic transition to strengthen its international reach and academic impact.

From its 5th issue onward, Joussour will operate as an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed electronic journal, published under the Diamond Open Access model (no submission or publication fees). The journal is committed to rigorous double-blind peer review, editorial transparency, and adherence to international best practices in scholarly publishing.

Published annually, Joussour welcomes original research articles, reviews, and case studies from both the University of Tunis and the global research community. The first fully online call for papers will be launched in January 2026, marking a new phase focused on quality, accessibility, ethical publishing standards, and international indexing
